Who we are
JK Quality is a privately owned Canadian company that has grown steadily over 35 years. We are based in Toronto, our own teams cover Ontario and Quebec, and we service customers coast to coast. We install and integrate commercial & retail security systems for public institutions and private businesses alike, from single sites to multi-location operators who need every building behaving the same way.
We are Canadian owned and Canadian run. The people who specify your system, install it and answer the phone afterwards all work here.
What we do
We design, install and integrate four things, and the integration is the part most providers skip:
- Video surveillance and CCTV installation. From straightforward coverage to advanced CCTV systems with video analytics, built on hardware we know rather than whatever carries the best margin.
- Door access control installation. Who opens which door, when, and the record of it afterwards.
- Intrusion alarm. Monitored detection sized to the site, not to a package.
- System integration. Cameras, doors and alarms reporting into one place, so your team checks one system instead of three.

Our work runs from public institutions to private business, and the range is deliberate. Among the Canadian organisations we have delivered projects for:

We also work across retail, warehousing and distribution, offices and multi-tenant buildings, and industrial sites.
Those four have almost nothing in common. A municipality, a school board, a national restaurant brand and a high-traffic visitor destination each buy differently, run different buildings, and answer to different people. What they share is that none of them can afford an installation that is approximately right.
Public-sector work in particular sets a bar: passing a procurement process, carrying the bonding and insurance, documenting what was installed and where, and working in occupied buildings around people who are not our customers. Multi-site brands set a different one, where the same specification has to land identically in every location, whoever is on site that week. Every client gets the benefit of a company built to satisfy both.

Every installation is tailored to your site
A warehouse with four doors and a night shift are also very different scenarios from a school campus, a multi-floor office, or a retail chain running twelve stores. We survey the building and the way it is actually used, then specify around that.
Thirty-five years across Canadian industry means we have almost certainly worked on a site like yours before, and we bring what worked there to the next one.

- A system designed around your building. We survey before we specify, so you are quoted what the site needs rather than a standard package.
- Equipment we know. Our team works daily with the products we install, so the recommendation comes from experience with the hardware rather than a line sheet.
- Installation done to a standard. Clean cabling, documented device locations, and a system handed over fully tuned to your expectations rather than simply working.
- Technicians who can answer the question. When something needs diagnosing, you speak to someone who understands the system rather than someone reading a script. We have had technicians on staff for over 20 years passing on expertise to the next generation.
- Support that continues after the handover. The relationship starts at commissioning, and the quality of our after-sales service is why customers stay.

You hold one contract, deal with one project manager, and get the same specification and the same standard at every location.
